Rumah Harus Lebih Tinggi dari Area di Sekitarnya

Pastikan rumah memiliki tinggi yang tak sejajar dengan area sekitarnya.
Hal pertama yang mesti dicek adalah tinggi teras dengan jalan di depannya.
Setelah itu, cek juga ketinggian bagian belakang rumah dengan ruang di dekatnya.
Apabila tinggi kedua bagian rumah itu sejajar dengan area di sekitarnya, besar kemungkinan terjangan air banjir masuk ke dalam hunian.
Karena itu, pilihlah rumah dengan elevasi lebih tinggi dibandingkan jalan atau lahan di sekitarnya.
